I guess I just dont see the point. A roll on is advantage to the bike that is geared the lowest. A Busa is so tall geared that I cant roll on with my buddies 95 Gixxer 1100. Its like him starting in 1st and me being in 3rd I say get rolling 40 or so each guy pics a gear whatever he wants and nail it. It hard to race when your bike wont even idle as slow as some of these guys want to roll on. Yah 6th gear roll on from 40 Mph will a Busa go that slow?

That's my point man, how can he proudly boast about beating a Busa with a 6th friggin gear roll on. If I was on the Busa I would have been like screw that man, this is for bragging rights and I'm rollin on in 2nd gear on a 1-2 mile stretch of road to appropriately hand you your boxers!!!

R-1's are getting to be about as bad as the Supra's used to be. One day in the future we will be unseated, but that day is still far off so don't worry about it. We win they lose. Then you put money into it and whoever has the most will usually win.

An R1 is a formidable machine, and a good rider can smoke a poor rider on a busa on any given day. The same can be said about a Triumph 600 vs a busa with a poor rider. I think what most people forget is that with todays bikes the rider's skills are a major factor in any race.
