I was 17 when the first Busa came out and I wanted it and loved it, and vowed to own one, one day.......................................it took me 23 years, but I finally got my 2024 Anniversary Hayabusa

Will see how I go. If the blue 2026 Special Edition is coming to New Zealand I think I will have one. The only bike I had that I regret selling was a 2016 GSXR750R. They can't sell the 750 in NZ anymore but I just spied the 40th anniversary 1000 in yellow. Hmmmm. I was thinking I need a Busa as I am going to have to do some frequent long distance work on a boring road and my current S1000R kills me after three hours in the saddle. Maybe the thou will work................

I've been doing this since I was 42. I'm 59 now and I expect to be into it the rest of my days. These large sport bikes are the best "do it all" bikes on the road and a very practical choice in my opinion. As far as age goes, the older you get the more likely it is your number is coming up. It makes sense to take fewer chances as you get older but it also makes sense to enjoy the life you have.
