Google changed the way they payout to publishers is what happened.
I can see the December 13, 2024, deactivation of all Belarus-based AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager accounts and the privacy policy unification in on Feb 16 then the March restrictions for online gambling for users outside Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Do you have a link for the update that killed ad revenue here?
What is the monthly and annual break down of expenses for the org if someone wanted to fund it?

Cap has had several offers for funding from the members and he’s turned them all down.

Oh... @captain is this true? Have you had offers to fully fund expenses? I can understand the impetus to go down with the ship having been a maritime captain for many years and responsible for all souls on board but not when the crew say then can save her.

Is there something else going on we should know about? A few souls on board this particular ship.

Willing to pass the baton sir?

Take a look at posts #30 and #38. Note also, no direct response. I don’t think he wants to do this anymore.

The software exists that can download entire websites such as this one
Surely the owner(s) of this site might want to keep a copy? For posterity?
(Or for cheap & obsessed sycophantic parasites like myself?)
I'm just saying

Thanks Michelle. End of last year bought a 23 Busa and was looking forward to spending more time here instead of lurking every few months; But. lol
Good to see you posting back up. Maybe I need to load up the old hard drive and post a pic of the pink busa for you.
Truly sad by the news. Even went and told the wifey after reading all the posts.

We checked with captain before posting this...

It sucks badly that hayabusa.oRg is taking a permanent nap.
It's an OG forum amongst OG forums.

If you have to go elsewhere, then this post is just a reminder that www.labusas.oRg LIVES.
25+ years and counting.

It's a private forum now though, so you'll need to register before you can view any threads.

Private eh? How bout some info about it before having to register? Does membership cost? Is membership participation active currently? Is it actively moderated? Is it divided like this forum with separate topic sections or is it like a running list of comments and posts? Does the la in labusa refer to Los Angeles, Louisiana or la as in la la la. And “ducmanic’s”? Person? Co-op? Maniacal Ducati rider? :D

I sure will miss this place, not on Facebook, so that is not an option.

The LABusas thing is not for me.

I am a member of advrider.com which has been around forever, with a free or add free option. It is a good site, with lots of traffic.

There is a Hayabusa sign in thread, not much activity, but a place to remain in touch on a reliable forum.

I’m in ADV as well and, as you said, not much on the busa thread.
