Idea's? Thanks,

Might sound odd but my F150 would lock itself from time to time and I asked a Ford mechanic and he told me my battery is causing this...
I used to unlock the truck in the winter then start it to warm up while I clear the snow...it would lock itself sometimes...I used to carry the extra fob on me at all times-just in case...
my 05 RSX locked me out twice threw keys on seat while at dragstrip with busa , now any car I have I roll the window down enough to get my arm in if it does it again
Right on the money there Mr B. @rubbersidedown this is the answer to your problem, my Subaru does the same thing, it's a security feature programmed into the central locking system.

I have been a 2-fobber since the first time it happened. Never got locked out as you did. What a PITA that must have been. Car or bike...the key is in the ignition or in my pocket. No exceptions ever.
