Is that a WS-6? An officer I used to mentor had one in a copper color and it was a really nice car.Well speaking of trans am spent some time with my buddies over summer and did some paint correction for him. They are wonderful cars. Other buddy had one with the rear mount turbo setup.

All the F-body V8 manual cars are 6spd. 98-02 is the aluminum block LS1 motor, they don't handle boost as well as the later LS6 motors. Agreed, but as I understand it GM improved the casting with webbing and bracing which made the LS6 stronger than the LS1 motors. An LS6 is the same block and rotating assemble as an LS1. Only different being 243 heads, and ls6 intake which looks like an LS1, but the runners are a bit different.
