Very nice seat. What's the purpose of the step in it ?

Lee makes the seat to fit each riders butt, he uses your waist size to fit your seat to your azz.

Lower center of gravity,helps to keep you from sliding back under hard acceleration,puts you down into the "pocket" rather than being perched up on top,etc.You wouldn't think they'd be all that comfortable but actually they are,and they're a nice finishing touch in the looks dept.Being 6' 2" i went with the modded Buell pegs from Joe Satterwhite for a little extra legroom and have no problem cruising a quick 100 miles between fill ups(which is about all i get out of a tank with the turbo if i start getting throttle happy).
