Thanks for all of the support guys. Working on getting better, sore as hell but, doing ok. I feel bad for my bike, she looks pitiful. Three trooppers came out to the scene (two were motorcycle cops) just to see the mighty busa. It was hilarious!

They kept asking questions like, how much was it, how fast is it, etc... They were really nice and cool about it. The guys yard I ended up in tried to pull some property damage scheme, the main trooper said, "no way".

This bike is an '03. I am looking for both side fairings, a nose cone that are not cracked or broken. Color is not important and minor scratches can be fixed. Please post what, how much, etcetera and I will get back to you ASAP. I am trying to get the ball rolling so I can get back on soon. It is the best therapy I know of. These parts will get me started and I will take it as it comes on the rest. I just hope that the fork tubes are okay, I can't put any down force on them to check. I really appreciate all of the support you guys have shown, I know that no one understands how I feel like you guys. I am so tired of hearing people that do not ride ask me to get rid of my bike! There is no way that is happening, I love my ride! Call me crazy but, I am not giving up. Oh yeah, both wheels are bent too. I thnk that maybe the back can be straightened but, the front is gone. I am looking for wheels too. Thanks for all the support and help offered, it means a great deal that there are still good people out there. Even if most of us are on two wheels, LOL!

McT,
Don't know if you'll have any luck straightening the wheels. I'm the bent wheel king myself. Good luck and hope you feel better.

I lost it today, think maybe the kick caught. Flipped twice, through fence, over boulder, and landed on me. Fractured scapulae (shoulder bone)and a lot of pain. I hope I can rebuild it. I will type more as I can.
Mark, Sorry to see & read this... Maybe I missed the post but how did this happen?

The trooper said it looked like my kick caught as I was in a turn, it stood me up and I went off-roading. The only thing I can guess is my boot caught the kick as I was shifting and pushed it down, I don't know all of the details. There was a kid that saw it and he said I flipped end over end twice and the bike came down on my back. I remember getting up, picking up the bike and that is when people came out to see what had happened. The rest was an ambulance ride, the bike went home on my trailer, and I am trying to heal us both now. I am going to get the frame checked, I thought I saw something posted on here about that. Anyone know where or anything I need to know about that kind of stuff?

I tore into the busa today. Headers took a hit, both cans shot, plastics on both sides and front are ruined, Windshield gone, both wheels bent, front tire ruined, all painted pieces managed to at the least get scratched, some fasteners are missing, left mirror got creamed, bar ends beat up, stator cover is ground down, and the grab rail has a few teeth marks. Good news is, the frame is good and it still runs perfect! Amazing to me that after all of that, the motor came away unscathed.

Oh, by the way, Flexoril is like M&M's of the pain medicine world. If you ever need them, ask for something/anything else.:(

Looks like we need to find a good parts vendor that will give us a group discount since we all seem to be crashing (myself included)
