Yes and Yes. Direct bolt on. The first one I got from Yana Shiki in FL as an aftermarket piece and paid to have it custom painted to match. The last one I bought was already painted in blue and $75 off eBay. Definitely an 'eye of the beholder visual mod' but I like the look, and it shows off my sexy custom Galfer rotors. ;)

Gen-I huh?

Yeah, You should have specified now that there are three model Hayabusa's. Can't just say Busa anymore.

So, changing my answer. No.

Gen-I 99-07 using trailing arms on the fork and is completely different than 08-20 Busa, so no, GSXR fenders are not compatible with 99-07 models

...but for those who do have a Gen2 (and probably a Gen3) that Yanna Shiki fender weighs NOTHING! It's not what I would call high quality. I busted two of them tightening the bolts. I repaired the last one and put aluminum fender washers outside to distribute the pressure. Locktight and just barely snug. I had that bike up to 180 and the fender held up. Much faster than that, I don't know if I'd want to trust it but if you want a cheap weight loss that looks cool, that's the one to go with.
