Why the US drinking age is 21

Whats your guys opinion on this? Should it be 21 or earlier?

As many or most of the under 21 crowd are drinking now...I say lower it and keep the blood-alcohol for driving at 0%.

I'm told our Canadian beer is stronger as well....

Because the government wants to save us from ourselves....
I've said it before, if a person isn't mature enough to consume alcohol before the age of 21, they should not be eligible to go and kill and die for their country either. It doesn't make sense to me that a person can vote, sign up for the military or be drafted, but not drink a beer. That's ridiculous.

I too have been sober for years. It’s amazing how much it changes you. Life is much better when you can remember it.

I really dislike my phone as it left out Wife.
My wife has been Sober since December 26th 2014.
My only problem was a beer belly lol

I quit drinking in June last year, life is so much smoother and healthier now, oh and my brain works and I can remember stuff. And my finances are waaaaaaayyyyy healthier! Lol

Oddly enough, I never drank alcohol or smoked or did any sort of drug (even rarely prescription).

All that and 32 yrs in the army where most of this is prevalent.

I used to basically live in the gym, that was one of my passions. I believe this has helped me the most by making my body strong enough to take the punishment it did over the years.

It helped me get through 30 years of hard labor as a rough framing carpenter in the Arizona heat and come thru with no back problems or any other lasting ailments.

I enjoy a refreshing adult beverage from time to time. This evening I plan on cracking open a new bottle of gin brought over from the UK.
