HJC is another one that fits a oval head, and the price is lower. I use a CLMAX flip up helmet. I love it!

The Arai RX7 will fit you very well. I have a long oval head and 3 RX7's.

Arai Profile, the RX7 is a great lid too just a bit louder (due to increased airflow) then the profile and a fair bit more expensive. Find a place in your area that you can try different brands and sizes on. What works for me might not work for you.

i got an rx7 from arai and it was the only helmet i have ever found that fit me perfect. the rf1000 shoei was close but not quite. I think the rx7 is long oval... not sure.

The only lid you should consider buying is of the higher quality set, the one you try on which fits you best.

It's very easy to advise someone over the internet, but there's no replacing actual, real-time fittings...

Good luck, bro! :beerchug:

+1 on trying on a few and +1 on the Arai's. They have a large variety.

Shoei is good too but if it doesn't fit you must acquit.

Ouch. That's bad!!!

The only way you are really gonna know which helmets fit you right is to go around to your local dealerships/stores and try different brands/models on. When you find one that you think fits, wear it around the store for about 10 minutes (while looking at others helmets) in order to pick up on any possible pressure points. Thus far, the only helm that fits my egg head right is the Shoei RF1000 series.

Good luck man,
D
