I work as a firefighter and as a private investigator in my off time. I have been a firefighter/fire investigator for 10 years now (5 as an investigator).

Oh yeah I live and work in Denver, CO.

We have quite a spread from what we all do. But we do have a lot in common also. I see we have some Firefighters. I used to be a Volunteer Firefighter when I lived in CT. I was with the company for four years. That is about the only thing I miss about CT.

Ok here goes....  

 I have been a Police Officer for 18 1/2 years now.  Im a Police firearms Instructor, and SWAT Officer I also work road patrol.  I have always loved speed, high performance cars and cycles, I love to drag race. And so 18 1/2 years ago I thought I would get a job that would help me keep my license..  

  Needless to say I do have a very soft spot for sport bikers.  What can I say.... Im just like you the call of a lonely long road in the middle of no place with no people around is a very powerful thing when ya ride a Busa...  

 All I can say is be safe and if ya see an Officer watching you on your Busa very closely, he could be like me... Wishing he was on that bike riding knowing the power, the speed and the smiles that only a Busa can give...

6 1/2 years and was transferred to the fire department as a fire investigator. I spent 10 years on the fire department.

I work as a pressman for the LA Times, I work nights and I ride every day (night) unless it's raining, or going to rain.  I've ridden nights for eleven years so I've seen a lot of weird stuff, drunk drivers, dogs on the freeway, (I actually hit one on the bike) CHP passing me on his bike doing 120 when I'm doing 90 he must have been late to work!

That reminds me, if you come up on a blood trail at night watch out...may be a large dog or coyote that's been dragged and could be in your lane, any lane.  If you come up on splinters of wood, look for a pallet!

So far the weirdest thing I've seen on the road was an engine. Thank God it was on the shoulder. Now that would rune your day.

I happen to be a Boston city bus driver M.B.T.A. Thats right,I drive the slowest thing that you can possably drive and then I hop on my Busa and let loose! When I drive my Bus my foot is always to the floor and I exeed speeds of 20-30mph tops,people cut me off on a daily bases,they pull out in front of me,pull around me,pull up beside me,give me the finger! you name it ,Ive seen it all,at the end of the day I hop on my busa and I,m FREE!

Yes, I've been there with the suit and tie. I'm a medical consultant. Friends see me dressed like that on the bike every now and then; they call it the businessman’s crotchrockett. They say I need to accessorize it with a fax machine, hole puncher, 8-track changer, an ashtray with one of those built in air filters on the bottom of it and a pencil sharpener. I don’t really give it much thought, except for the tie flying out. I personally would just settle for a secretary on the back seat (wearing a thong).
