I've got a fledgling knife collection. Some where in the neighborhood of 150 pieces. Primarily slipjoints, a third of which are Copperheads, with a few of the other patterns thrown in.

What do collect for no good reason?

there is one clause that you could use... if you get married and your new partner brings 2 cats to the party.. even then, you are only allowed 4 total..

Coins mainly (old and current proofs) Have double proofs of all the sets that contain the State Quarters. I get double sets of everything I get from the Mint since I have 2 kids...someday they will be theirs.

Started on Gold and Silver several years ago, but got redirected a couple of years before it went real high. I also sold alot of the silver bars and coins and the gold small bars before it went up. I did make money, but not as much as if I would have sold them now. I wish I would have bought more gold.

It's not much of one, but I guess I collect records. I have ~150 LP's so far, about 100 CD's, and maybe 30 8 tracks.

I've got a fair number of silver coins collected over the years, silver certificates etc. I suppose it's a collection even though I don't actively seek them out, they find me and I throw them in the pile.

Also have a stamp collection that was my Grandfather's, something I have zero interest in.

I use to collect old Harleys, but I found out how much they were worth restored. So I started restoring them and selling them. I guess you could say i collect tools. Seems to be the one thing i have lots of.

Who's the guy that is the one man walking encyclopedia of collectible LP values? John something. He's on the radio every once in awhile. People call in with what they think is a rare collectible LP worth big money only to find out it's a worthless fake. Seems a large portion are Beatles and Elvis LP's and singles.

Then every once in awhile somebody calls in to discover they have one worth a few thousand.

Don't call mine a collection for insurance reasons. Collections require a seperate rider.

I have a collection of hot sauces. Somewhere around 100 bottles, maybe more, they have been packed away for a while.

Used to collect guns...had about 35 in my safe (thereabouts).

Casualties due to my divorce and the economy have left me with about a third.

I'm trying to collect motorcycles but I've been stuck at 1 for the last 4 years.
At least I've got the best one first...

My Blu-Rays are getting up there...
