Does it not screw on like the other Vortex caps? Wondering what the red lever is for?

Yes it screws on. Alot easier than their older version btw. The red lever is just a lock they have now this way you know the cap can not unscrew

Have the same cap and way easier to screw in than than the old Vortex,only has like 4 coarse threads.

I have a Vortex on my YSR, and one of the things I do not like about it is that when it is finally tight, the lip that you grab is never straight up and down, or sideways. It is always at an angle, and it makes me OCD

Way better than the stock one with fake stupid chrome. And this cap is always perfectly centered when its tight it has to be or it wouldnt lock there is only one notch for the lock to slide into.

Does it all sit flush with the tank, I bought a aftermarket cap and it seems to stick up and I doubt the thing is sealed at all where it meets the tank, so if the bike goes over there will be fuel everywhere.
