Gentlemen,

Could you point me in the right direction of a quality metal valve stem that will pass tech. I've noticed some distortion on the stockers and I believe the rules are changed this year for the use of metal stems only.

I'm just looking for a good set that will pass tech.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

March is coming and I want to be ready.

Hey, Friend: I believe that any high-quality tire/wheel shop should have the (now required for Maxton) metal valve stems. I am in the process of re-fitting all my Maxton bikes with metal valve stems, at small cost. I found the stems at the bike shop that is, conveniently, next door to my warehouse, for less than $10.

Count on having to dismount and remount the tire. Good time to re-check the balance!
