Got a B-King!

Straight up.
Nothing is selling now anyway.
My bike had alot of mods(that I'de never see money back from) and 17k miles.
Needed a set of tires, badly, and chain was shot(full of tight links).
I wanted a B-King anyway.
It has 5600 miles, Twobrothers cf mufflers, and frame sliders...and good chain and tires.
Dealer wanted rid of the B-King, and knew they could sell a Busa much easier...and I wanted a B-King anyway.
Everybody wins.

Do the pegs seem to be lower, or about the same as the Busa?

Much lower...much.
The seat heigth is also taller, and wider.
On my gen2 I could flatfoot it seated with a slightly bent knee.
On the B-King I am straight legged with my heels off the ground.
Seating is upright.
No lean to the handlebars.
A very comfortable riding position.

Why did you want a B King over a Busa?

Been through 5 seats, and 3 handlebar setups.
Hurt my back a year after buying gen2 new, been struggling to ride it since.
Sat on a couple B-Kings over the years and really liked them.
Test rode this one a couple weeks ago and loved it.
No going back.

I know right, I'm sorry.
Nobody wants to take pictures in the cold, let alone ride with me in it:laugh:
Ecu editor restrictions gone and exhaust valve in midpipe opened.
Set suspension sag.
Shorty levers.
Catalytic converter gutted.
Functional ram air.
Powdercoat swingarm and pegs black(or black Vortex rearsets).
Silencer inserts for 2bros mufflers, they sound good, but too loud for me.
Inserts claim 7 to 8 decibel drop. Hope so.
With the stock mufflers gone there's even room for a trunk mod!

That's cool but I call BS on the trunk mod because that looks like it has the room of a 1000 and that's not much at all. I think the blacked out bkings look awesome. It doesn't have functional air ram stock?

Congrats on the trade, seems like it was pretty darn good for both sides, not often that happens.

Always liked the B-king a fely it had mad mod potential. A guy here at the local suzuki dealer has one with some nice aesthetic mods - bike always attracts attention.

Looking great! Seen one at the drag strip a while ago, that thing is even more of a wheelie monster compared to the busa. How is it in the corners?

You will have to tell us what you think of the wind at highway speeds compared to the Busa. I have been toying with the idea of doing the same thing you just did, but have not looked into it too much.
