Just wanted to post a little bit of tire specs.
Here is a pics of a 110 tire vs 120. The 110 weighs in at 8.5 lbs,the 120 weighs in a 10.3 lbs. As you can se the 110 will set the front end of the bike anout 1.5 inches lower to the ground (good for dragarcing) plus it's lighter weight is easier to spin up to speed.

Rennsport-Pilot H2-Supercorsa
All will give good traction. The Renn is 12.4 lbs,Pilot H2 is 11.6 and the Supercorsa is 12.4 lbs.

The Pilot H2 gets the nod on contact patch and it has no tread in the center for maximum traction.

Here is one of my Michelin Grooved slicks vs a Michelin Pilot H2. The Grooved slicks weighs 12.0 bs and the H2 weighs 11.6 lbs.The Slick is 180/67/17.

Here is a Grooved Michein slick vs a Grooved Dunlop KR Slick. The Michein slicks weighs 12.0 and the Dunlop slick weighs a whopping 14.4 lbs.

The Dunlop208GPA tire is identical to the Dunlop KR (weigh, composition and aspect ratio 180/55/17) the only difference is the application of the tread on the D.O.T Dunlop. All modern day Sport bike D.O.T race tires are developed from what tire makers learn on the race track with Race slicks. Some have slight difference ike side wall stiffness to absorb bumps and of course treads to displace water. Some are indentical to the race slicks with the tread being the only difference.
The decifer tire code just read the side. A 120/70/17 tire is
120 section width
aspect ration is 70 percent
Z rating is that the tire was tested above 149mph for 2 hours without failure
17 inches is wheel diameter
R is for radial construction
Sportrider magazine ran 2 different size tires (180 vs 190) of the same composition and same maker on a dyno. The 180 put out about 2hp more in the low and midrange torque vs the 190.
