First, thanks for the support to all the guys that did the survey. The wife got an "A" on it and I'm getting a set a Handy Industry bike stands out the deal. . They were 34 members of the board who responded to the survey.Here's the results-I thik they are self explanatory, if you have any questions feel free to ask
1. Average age 33.765
2. Only males responded to the survey
3. Average income: 60-70k a year
4. 53% have no prior military experience 47% have served in the military
5. The group average street riding experience is 13 years. However the range was from 2 years to several people with over 20 years. exp. and several more with 30+ years exp.
6. 47% have some dirt bike exp. 53% have no exp. with dirt bikes. The avg. exp. amongst those with dirt bike riders was 10 years with exp range from 1 to 28 years.
7. 50% are married 50% are single/divorced/unattached
8. 57% have at least 1 ticket, 43% have no tickets. The avg. # of tickets amongst ticket holders 7, however this number has been inflated by two members who have 50+ tickets a piece.
9. 85% have never been involved in an accident with another vehicle
10. 69% have had single vehicle accidents not counting dropping their bike in the garage or on the trailer.
11. 53% have received some type of motorcycle related injury. 21% have received multiple motorcycle injuries.
12. 30% have suffered major injuries related to motorcycling (broken bones, surgery, etc.) 27% have received minor injuries related to motorcycling (road rash, burns, scrapes, bruises, etc)
13. Over 97% of the surveyed members exceed the speed limit on a regular basis.. Only one person confessed to not speeding on a regular basis.
