Need a pair, but only If they will allow me to trailer without tiedowns from my handlebars. Can you strap the tire into the chock and forego regular tiedowns?

One of the set-ups I'm checking out has been rated at 3000lbs..... Not sure if that means side to side or what! But, I'm hearing these are darn near bullet proof. And "Yes" to answer you questions; its bye bye handlebar tie downs... Still have to secure the back, but only takes seconds to lock down.
