Tax your milage ???

Let them try and put something in peoples vehicles :rofl:
And to even suggest something like this at this time, the guy who thought of it should be SHOT!

Let me tell you how it will be;
There's one for you, nineteen for me.
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Should five per cent appear too small,
Be thankful I don't take it all.
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

If you drive a car, I'll tax the street;
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat;
If you get too cold, I'll tax the heat;
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet.

Taxman!

'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Don't ask me what I want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister heath)
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

Now my advice for those who die,
Declare the pennies on your eyes.
'Cause I'm the taxman,
Yeah, I'm the taxman.

And you're working for no one but me.

Taxman!

Stupid idea! bet my SUV does more damage to the road than my Busa, dont think ill be makin my appointment to get the big brother chip installed. Stupid idea!

Mileage is already taxed through consumption of fuel. In Ohio, the combined federal and state tax on every gallon of gasoline is roughly 48 cents.

This is a win for environmentalists in that there is at least some incentive for people to avoid/reduce this tax through changing their need to drive the biggest S.U.V. around as daily transportation. Start taxing mileage and that incentive is reduced.
