I first learned about medical vacations about 10 years ago when my my best friend needed to get a hip replaced. We went to Argentina for it. They were ahead of America in technology, skill ,and technique. Robotic hip replacement we hadn't even started yet at that time. They picked us at at the airport, took us to the apartment. Introduced us to the housekeeper. Took him to the doctor. Who showed up exactly on time. He was in surgery the next morning. Walking his first steps that afternoon and was sent home on the beginning of day 3. with the instructions of I will come to check on you in 2 days. 9AM.

2 days from then was a Saturday. I thought the doc just made a mistake he didn't really mean Saturday.

Saturday at 9AM the doc is at the door. In a business suit and his black bag. Checked him over for about 20 mins. And said. Your next appt to see me is in 3 days. I expect you to walk into my office for it.

3 days later he did. 7 days from start to finish. He saved 20K. We were treated like royalty. I was woke at that point!

I know a few people that have done this as well. American doctors trained in America just practicing in a different country to avoid all the unnecessary BS that come with the .gov intervention.

FACT: Our company insurance premium before 2008 and Obamacare went up 9-11% a year (manageable). From 08 to now it's has more than QUADRUPLED and we had to cut the benefit AND the percentage the employee has to pay. Last year's offered increase was SIXTY-FOUR percent in ONE year. No company can absorb that kind of expense we can't raise our prices that fast. So now our policy is basically a 'disaster' policy and my deductible is somewhere around $10K per individual before anything kicks in.

The truth is Obamacare was an outright LIE (admitted) in the first place that they knew was doomed to fail, in order to get those who produce/earn/work and pay for insurance to pay for those who don't - and when it failed, to push to single payer because that's "the only way"...

I'm in the VA system. I'm happy to share with you the good and bads of it. I thank GOD I have a g/f who is a physician because they have a lot of cracks in the VA system. I will say this however. It has gotten noticeably better in the past 2 years. Thank you Pres Trump for that. It was so long overdue.

In my case I'm looking at Colombia and Costa Rica for dental work. Dentist are local nationals that have been trained in the U.S. I am so far liking CR over Colombia for the overall sound of the experience. And the cost to travel there is less than Colombia. I'd love to see Colombia but considering the notion of 2 trips needed its comes down to the $$. CR speaks English more readily than Colombia.

P.S. One of my favorite stories there. The doc looked at me during the first visit. He said you will be here for 7 days. If you have any needs for a woman I will send you to the best place.

I'm like....HUH??!!? Prostitution was totally legal and like Vegas all the girls are guaranteed clean. Like $60 at the time. Like I said.....I got woke!!!

for anyone wondering.... HIV can remain undetectable for months and months..... and if u think oral sex is safe.... think again... Lots of Hep C infections there,,,,,, know who you have sex with...… no such thing as guaranteed clean...… ure ONE snapped condom away from a year of WONDERING if ure gonna come up HIV positive.... and ive had condoms break.... one of the worst feelings in the world.

First of all I didn't. Second of all. You don't seem to understand what guaranteed clean means. Third. You are clueless what Argentina even remotely looks like or how it works. Specifically Buenos Aires. A professional there is a better bet than an unknown girl you meet that isn't. The regular girls have no requirement to be certified clean.

If I were a single man, at $60 (no idea what the current price is now) and guaranteed clean, its a far better investment than courting any wife I have had or may decide to have in the future.

As the saying goes, why buy the cow when all you need is a little cream once in awhile.

I'm past 50 and have never had any STD of any type at all....period.

That isn't by accident.

I don't have a g/f like yours that if she strayed, you'd be OK with it cuz you have that special thing going on between you two.

Wouldn't matter what he proposed. The Dems would resist at all cost. He's already said its going to be easier to let it just implode. I kind of wish he hadn't have screwed with it by taking that penalty thing away or whatever he did last year. That will make it look like it was his doing when it fails. All he did was hasten its implosion. But nobody will see it that way when it happens. If he would have kept his hands off it, nobody to blame but Obama for it then. Voters have a poor recall of anything past 4 months in this country.

Texas has made progress in getting the ACA to be considered unconstitutional. So far that stands. I kind of wish Texas would do the succession thing. They have the money to build a wall around themselves.
