It can go either way... Tatood women have either quality ink and it looks hot... Or they have ghetto bargain ink and it looks ghetto. There's very little in between.

Tramp stamps and tribal silliness of course don't really count either way. Just too common, too normal if you will.

So yeah, there is without a doubt, good ink... And Bad ink... So long as it's personal to the owner though, it's all good. But there are so many folks getting their "fashion" tat's that it's sorta lost some of it's cool factor I think...

Something tasteful an small preferably someplace where only I can enjoy it. Feminine art flowers/ butterflies or something like that. Dragons, Skulls, or demon type art not my taste on a lady. That s just a preference though I am single & lonely so I am pretty flexible

Time for a woman's opinion. I have 2 tats that I got this year - I'm 41, so I thought seriously about this. Personally, I think all tats should be able to be hidden when the occassion calls for it. But I appreciate a truly artistic tattoo regardless of the location on the body or gender of the person. If the person is sexy and the tat is well-done, it adds to their sexiness.

I also feel that since you're getting something that you'll have for the rest of your life, you should get something meaningful. Getting one just because your friends have one is just as silly as anything done due to peer pressure.

Mine both have very specific and personal meanings. They're on the tops of my feet so they can be easily covered if necessary. One thing for everyone to remember is that with time, comes the ravages of gravity. That great tat on your hip or back looks fabulous when you're 25, but at 50, not so much.

I agree with you, with the exception of the effects of aging and the tatoo...when I see an older person, say 70+, with ink, I don't think "that old fogey looks silly"....I think instead that they are just like me, only older. I have work on my calf, that I really like, and I'll really like it in 25 years, God willing I'm still around. My wife has a tat, often referred to as a Tramp Stamp....I love it. I love her, and I'm willing to bet that in 20 years, that Tat of hers will always bring back some great memories...maybe even help rustle up some new ones......

Tattoos, good ones at least, should be a special reminder of a special time, place, person, or feeling......as the skin ages, the sentiment behind the art should not.

I appreciate anything that is well thought out and executed with skill.

If it is an exquisite work combining art, concept, craftsmanship and personal statement of the wearer - it is a beautiful thing.

Any one of those things missing or not up to par - lame.
