Vic I checked the recent set I did, and they did scratch fairly easy, but as I checked those I played with the Busa and my old track stuff. I guess it takes a few days to totally harden up.. Because the Busa feels bullet proof right nw. The Herculiner stuff in the can that is rolled on, is much stronger/harder, and it looks even better than this stuff does.. Just more work..

it take some time to get that solvent evaporate from vinyl. make perfect sense.
I wish I can see yours in person.
I also gonna try this herculiner you mentioned.

SHWELL,

1) Have you applied the "roll-on" yet or are you still planning to?
and
2) If you have applied it by rolling how difficult was on the curved surfaces?

I have not applied it yet, should be done in the next week or so... I have ti pace myself, I had neck surgery, and cannot do too much at once.. But one I do, I will post pics..

Any update or pics on how this stuff is holding up? I was thinking of doing my rearsets with this stuff....took me awhile to find this thread again, but thought the idea was killer and worth bringing up again.

They have a thing you can apply to the coating that wil bring back the color if it fades and protects it from fading in the first place. My local RL place has it.
