My friend has a SRAD. It starts good when the engine is cold or cooled down abit from hot but sounds as if the battery is dead when it's hot & starts fine if hot & we push start. New battery in there but still doesn't help. Any ideas?

I had this same problem with my 96 GSXR750. First I swapped out the starter and then the battery and I believe that cured it. I don't have the bike anymore but this is a pretty common problem with the SRAD bikes and you will see many threads on Gixxer.com about how to fix it. It was a bit of a PITA as you pulled in for gas and then it wouldn't restart.....would have to do the bump start which would work first time every time for me.
