Smoothness

Being smooth Ben is flowing while riding. It's where your technique blends everything into one experience.
The turn, the switchback, the straight, it all blends. You gotta flow like a river, water doesn't stop or look sketchy, it rolls.  Ever watch a newbie attack a turn? Braking to late or early, turning in to soon, hitting the apex to early. All of which adds up to a not so smooth corner. Finding the right lines through the curves is your salvation. Going slow can actually make you go faster. Roll with the bike, flow with it, find your balance with it.
Build with it till it's second nature.
Before you know it, your traveling twice as fast with half the mental/physical force you used before, since it's second nature now.

Anyone can hit a corner hard, it's being smooth that's the hard part.

Remember........ flow like water.

I know it sounds like the old wise oriental teacher, but it rings true. Being smooth with anything improves the effectiveness of it and very few things are as smooth as water in movement.
