Is it true you can get your ecu to re-learn the new exhaust by just unplugging your battery for a few minutes?
I put on slip-ons some time ago and thought maybe the bike is running lean.

Have not read anything of the sort...from my research you technically don't have a new exhaust; still stock based on them being slip-ons. I'm no expert in this area; added Brocks Dual Alien Head to mine and they provided a custom map for the PCV.
Most recommended no changes for a slip-on only when you go to a full system or a slight change in the maps if you added a PC.

Don't forget adjusting the flux capacitor whenever messing with the centrifugal sensor

I did! I had to loctite it up and torque it to specs
