I just downloaded this program,its free of course,supposedly you can call any other skype user from your computer for free! I dont have any friends that have it, so everybody get it and PM me with your user name and location and we'll try this thing out.NJ.

There is a plethora of these programs.

Skype is good and you can call landlines too. I hate the nicnames.

I've used Firefly with great success. They give you a phone number. Hawaii to Canada was crystal clear with no lag. That was puter to puter.

Google talk is the latest and greatest I hear.

I've always used Windows Messenger. Tried others, but why load extra software for a simple PC to PC voice or video conversation when it's already built in to XP? Now if Skype was free PC to Phone number, I'd be all over it.
