Second attempt at smoking ribs

charlie, read post # 14 in this thread. I have a gauge mounted in the side of the drum. I also have an electric meter for cheep that I got at WW or HD or Lowes. Under $20.
Get them both. The mounted one, you will only want a stem that is 3" or so.
Top rack is 7" from the top of the drum. If you decide that you want to smoke a turkey or a large bird, large ham, get a dome lid. If a Webber is available, GRAB it.

First cook, do some hotlinks. Do babyback ribs. You will get the hang of it fast

I like cooking at 225*
