Seat Cowl Mod Busa II

[Midlife III]

With a lot of help from other members I have completed the first mod on my Busa II. I know there is a lot of room for improvement but this was my best try.

I removed the seat and marked where the ends of the grab bar where it attaches to the tail section. Removed grab bar and mounted seat cowl and transfered tape marks to indicate where to cut and grind notches.

Removed seat cowl from bike and took off cowl base. Put base in correct location and marked the areas that had to be cut away on base.

Snap base into position until it clicks into place. Make sure it clears geab bar on both sides.

Really does not look very good. I do not know how to make it look better.

Parts put back together (cowl and base) and checked for fit. Keep filing and grinding until happy with fit.

Looks nice, but why would you want the passenger grab rail without the pillion seat ?
