right now i see our goverment as a total mess for the rest of bush's term now that the democrats are taking power. i think we are heading for deep trouble. i am not knocking the democrats, just the fact now bush's hands are going be tied with the house and senate. all i seen from the press about donnie rummie is he did not care about the troops, loved to count barrels of oil. i do not know if that is true.
of course rummie did not do nothing bush did not tell him to do. so if anyone thinks with him leaving that it will help get us out of iraq, i dont think so.

I think since the Dems have the house they will impose their ideas or refuse to futher fund the war so Bush is going to have to make some compromises now....i think its going to go bad for us i hope im wrong

The "war" is not going well. Public opinion is sliding further and further into the negative. There had to be a sacrificial lamb, a scapegoat. This was no more than a political move to blame somebody and show that the President is doing something about the failures in Iraq.
