Riding season ends - do you cancel your insurance?

Coverage all year. Dry streets mean I still ride. The only problem I had was a water main break. The street was completely ice covered. I went real slow and made it through, but was probably too cold and should not have been riding.

Ask your insurance guy about a winter "lay-up" discount. I think that's what it is called.

In severe winter areas it's a way to keep the bike insured for everything other than collision, and thus save a few bucks.

It only makes sense if you really aren't going to ride during that time frame.

I know my Insurance doesn't allow the gap.
AND, your vehicle is NOT covered under a home owners policy.
PLUS, I ride from March to December in New Hampshire, so no point to it.

Here in Nebraska, riding season ends around late October and starts about April. But with the way the weather has been around here. I can ride a couple of days a month with temps in the low 40's. until April. Then it starts to warm up some. So I keep mine insured.
