remove engine for big bore kit?

I have read that to pull the head and the barrels you need to pull the motor. It also seems I have read that some people have done it with the motor in the frame. What gives?

It a lot of extra work to assemble it in the frame, its more a time issue!

It can be done with the engine in the frame - but like GIXERHP said - more time, more hassle

Really, once you get the engine to the point to pull the head and cylinders, you can have the whole engine out in another 15 mins!

I've pulled my engine twice and it's not that difficult. More time consuming than anything.

How long to pull the engine you think? And how long for the whole install? I'm thinking of doing new cam and head.
