Last night after work I gassed up and went for a wonderful 100 mile or so ride, it was basically me and the road. Mid 60s, cloudy and dry, little to no wind...it was awesome!

I got home and felt good still , great really I could have ridden more... but I ate and had a few beers. Then I ran to the store to pick something up and it was still dry out (expected rain) and warm! DAMMIT I wanted to go for a night ride bad but I had a few beers so I locked myself out of the opportunity. I wasnt drunk , far from it but I wont go on a serious ride with any beer in me.

Opportunity lost thanks to a beer!

Finally! Some wisdom and good judgement!

have had that happen more than once, it does however give you a good excuse to get a group together and drink for fun occasionally

If I have a single alcoholic drink within a 2hr period, she is parked.

Cages are one thing...bikes are a whole nother animal...

Good choice.

Same choice I would have made. Alcohol and bikes don't mix!

Hey, just glad you opted to skip the ride...it's the ones that don't make smart decisions like that that end up being a statistic...

This is Mom, signing off...
