After you have done the alignment checks, chalk/mark up the edge of the tire and go for a ride. See if you still have a problem.

Nah, you're not squeezing the swing arm in.  You do need to use a torque wrench though on that castle nut.  72½ ft. lbs.  And always use a cotter pin.

And invest in a 36mm socket, $10 at Kragens. That cheapo hex wrench in your tool kit will put unsightly nicks in your axle nut and will eventually round it off over time.
