Do you need to retune power commander when putting in a k-n air filter, and Is it better to get a pipercross race filter and do a re-tune, and is a race filter not safe for daily driving

no need to tune for just a k&n i would think. It wouldnt be that beneficial.

its been discussed on many forums that K@N filters make less hp than oem, so it must stop a lot of dirt and air

Get a DNA brand air filter and forget the V Stacks in your other thread .
