Question for Computer Experts

Running Mac OSX, I Googled "AT&T Wireless," and the screen at the bottom appeared. Clicked on the first link ("AT&T Official Site"), and it took me to the following site URL, but with a blank page. I force quit Safari.

Without including the exact link here for obvious purposes, the Google link took me to http:// [followed by] spe.atdmt [dot] com [followed by] /images/pixel.gif

Any ideas?

my guess, it was either tracking you or attempting to load some virus or other naughty thing to your machine.

I just tried on my Macbook pro using Firefox and had no issues, it looks like it had a fubar in loading transfer pages
