Q3 Tire Question

Why is the front tread the opposite as the rear? Looks as though if riding in rain would squeeze the water to the center of tire.

The side photo of the right wheel you can see its mounted correctly with the tire direction.

The way it was explained to me years ago (right or wrong) is the loading of the tires are in opposite directions. Makes sense when you think about which way the loads go in acceleration vs braking. A while back I posted up that back in the olden days of 16 inch front tires I was roadracing and you couldn't get race compound fronts so you used a narrow rear and turned it around on the front.

Yea I think I'm on my 2nd set of Q3s now. I love that tire. This sets getting replaced after daytona.
