So lucky, was in a good inch on a new tire, sideways in the thickest part of the tread. Pulled it, no leaks!
You can see in the second pic by the wear how deep it was.

I had the same thing years back and I was at work, freaking out that I wouldn't make it home, blah blah blah...sometimes you just get lucky with those pesky nails
