I am so sorry to hear this! I hope she will have a speedy recovery. I second the motion that you need to sneak in chocolates!

Thanks all, looks like shes scheduled for a hip replacement on Friday. Also, she's not going to be allowed to live alone anymore, so we are either gonna have to have a rotation of family members staying with her or shes going to have to go to assisted living.

I vote for assisted living, myself, because nobody in my family has any sort of medical training.

Thanks all. Shes stabil and in the hospital right now. She did break her hip, and pretty badly I guess. They have to wait until all her blood thinning meds get out of her system, and they are gonna operate on Thursday or Friday. At this point they arent sure if they are going to pin it or just replace it. Either way, it's not gonna be a fun time for her.
