HEard from the hospital a little bit ago - my grandma came through her hip replacement surgery just fine. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her, but the worst is over. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.

We are going through the same thing, my Grandmother (86 yrs. old) just went through the same thing. She fell the day before Easter, and just got back home last Sat. She has to have someone with her 24 hrs. a day, and with me out of work still, it's been me alot of the time. She has therapy 3 times a week, trying to get her back to where she can take care of herself again, but she told him (the therapist) "why do I need to go through this pain trying to walk again, I have someone here with me that can do all that stuff". I'm afraid it's going to get ugly. She wants nothing to do with a nursing home, and won't come stay with my mom, and pop. It's really sad !!! We just lost my Grandpop a year, and a half ago, and he waited on her hand, and foot for the last 10 years.
