Its very possible the person who passed you was either a member or was affiliated with a M/C. Passing in the same lane is common practice for many individuals who ride in a club. The culture/atmosphere of Brotherhood cultivates a strong sense of trust and same lane sharing/passing becomes second nature with your Brothers. However you clearly didn't know this person and that rider used terrible judgement. Passing someone in that manner who doesnt know or understand how you ride can be disastrous.
