organized ride, close call

I ride with 1 earbud in my cheapo mp3 players and some light Jack Johnson acoustic music on.. i can barley hear it, but it's enough to keep me from going insane on a 13 hour trip. I would never blast my music out external speakers or even put my second earbug or turn the volume up, plus I don't ride with it on group rides because that's where most of the trouble happens, but by myself on the interstate, i tend to go insane without a tune or two.
