Welcome! I own a 2005 Black/Red Busa also. I have put slip on Microns, a K&N w/Remaping of fuel injection, Carbon Fiber mirrors/tank protector/chain guard, and a Double Bubble wind screen. I'll post a picture in a few. You'll love the bike.
It really rails. I also own a 2000 Red/Gray Busa. She's got more engine (unrestricted), but she's seems heavier than the new 2005. Enjoy!

The hump mod or "grab bar" mod is : You mount your grab bar, Now gently put your hump on but dont try to force anything,just let it sit there on your grab bar, mark where its touching the bar on both sides, dremel out the two places and VOILA!!!! Cool mod. cool look and no money involved!

Welcome to the board, A good helmet and some protective riding gear is always first and then yeah the kickstand mod or a new adjustable kickstand works too. Zero Gravity double bubble dark smoked black looks really good. Invest is a rear stand, makes getting the lube on the chain easier. go to www.schnitzracing.com and click hayabusa and the possibilities are endless. www.newenough.com is also really good and is having a sale on jackets. good luck and ride safe.

What is the hump mod?  And I see by your Avatar, you're either a current or former Marine.  I was active duty in the Corps from 92-96.

I sence another Marine Moto post coming on. Semper Fi! and welcome to the board! I have a blue chrome sporttech V-flow windscreen, I like it and I think the red chrome would match your colors.....here's a pick -

By the way, there are two hump mods:
1. Using a dremel to cut/grind the sides of the hump so that it can be attached with the grabrail installed.
2. A mod to the retention plate inside the hump for quick removal and extra storage.

For mods you can do a search or go to the technical forum and read the modifications -----you will be amazed at the kind of stuff you find there.
