Powder could be in many colors and effects. Google it and you will see for yourself.

With rims, frames amd arms.....structural alluminum could not be heated above 300F. That is very important. Commercial coaters will never tell you that. Only low temp powders could be used on such components.  Keep it in mind.
So when will you open up your own shop? That's all I need to know

Well, lots of members her love FREE things, but honestly, your time is worth something, as are materials, so free just doesn't feel right...

...if you can't rob your friends, who can you rob?!

Damn Vic, I'm paying you a lot of compliments this week. I like the look of those rearsets. That's a fantastic idea.

Do you mind publishing your powder "recipe"? I might like to do that powdercoating locally or myself if possible.

I will gladly do them for you, see, Michelle, free....

Sorry but no for the recipe... That is my know how....
smile.gif

I spend enormous amount of time trying different powders, scratching, bending, washing and expozing to hard ultraviolet radiation all results and trying again and again...

Thank you for the comliments, I will keep all you guys updated.

again, It is free for now, no charge, nothing... You pay shipping and clean your parts.....
I can do many colors... I would reccomends black for most abused parts. It does scratch, steel wool can scratch it.
Plastic cleaner and a little back-on-black Mothers restore it completely.

Now I`m working on low temperature version of my mix so I can do frames and another structural pars.... and body plastics...

P.S. Anybody noticed that I cut away some ugly part of rearset?

I`m looking for TI sheets that I can fabricate new shields of. Of CF maybe....

This brake bar is 100% what I wanted, non reflective rough surface. Unfortunately it`s scratches if used on rearsets or any other usually abused part. Durability is very important to me because I don`t want to redo my job every month and I can`t stand anything but perfect ( look at the welding of this brake bar)

It is durable enough to be washed with rough brush and even still wood if not applied too hard. Actual brakebar was abused that way prior to this picture taken.

It's amazing...I'm in awe 'cause I just don't have the time or know-how to even begin "just doing this stuff"...

I may take you up on your offer in the future, but right now my bike is readying itself for custom paint...without a paint scheme in mind yet, I have no idea what I'd want powder coated and in what color...I know I'd like to powder coat the rims, but they don't fit in an oven now do they?!

Very nice work though...I'm impressed, as always with you guys around here!

nope, I don`t have big owen yet.

Remember, no heating wheels, frames, arms... or any structural alluminum components...
smile.gif

300F is the magic number. I can imagine how many has been ruined by powdercoting services... After all they don`t care about structural integrity....
How many frames cracked after been rewelded after crash?

BTW.
Never buy a salvaged bikes with alluminum frame....

Sure , no problem. You have to clean and disassemble them yourself. Let me know if you need help with that.

PM Sent. Please insure you package, I don`t want your rearsets disappeared. UPS was loosing my packages lately....

Vic, you are a man of many talents. Are you working on a radar deflecting powder coating process?
