new powder coating

Does anybody have any ideas where I can borrow/rent/buy cheaper something like THAT?
Let me talk to my Fiance's brother. He's a painter & when I backed over a ford escort with my Jeep, he repaired the hood, fenders and paint for the cost of me getting him a quality heating/curing lamp for his garage...cost me something like $150...I will ask him tonight where he got it and the specs.

Is there a way to do the rear sets so that they won't scratch? I've rubbed a lot of the paint off the stock painted ones with my boot and am looking for a fix that looks good.

Metal parts of the boots will scratch anything...even hard chrome.
I have Gaerne boots with nasty screw on it`s side and I scratched mine bad.... BTW I love Gaerne boots. Better then Sidi, more comfy.. I can wear then all day in the summer.

Anyway.... powder is much more durable. That was the reason I started experimenting with it...

That black powder could be washed with steel wood and no scratches if not too much pressure applied.

wow!

i really like that coating. looks grey from the
pictures, not black. what's it look like in real light?

On this picture you can see the rubber peg.
It`s black. Powder is darker... Light reflection can make it look
lighter. all those pictures were taken with full blast of Canon EZ540 flash. about 15 times more powerfull then internal flash in digital cameras.
My goal was to achive as less light reflection is possible.
