Did a 100 mile ride. The noise volume from the exhaust is, in my opinion, just right. It is quieter on startup than my Panigale, and on the go, it is enough to know where I am in the revs, without being tiring. I always ride with ear plugs.
I have the noise insert on order, but may end up not installing it.
If 2WDW did your tune ask Nate about putting Db killer in. He'll tell you not to. On my FZ-10 that they flashed he said, at least on that bike it would be so restrictive that power levels would drop dramatically.

I asked him, and he said not to :)

I've looked for any evidence that a BMS equipped LiFePO4 increases the likelihood of RR failure and can't find much. RR's fail - absolutely - but most failures occur with OEM batteries installed. A good quality LiFePO4 with BMS is highly unlikely to cause this issue. I'm sure it happens, just not as often as what some may claim.
Now I'm curious whether Suzuki changed the RR on the latest model (with a stock lithium battery). If so, I'm into the preventive aspect and would want one.

With parallel rectifier extra power will be shunt to ground but this will increase stator heat significantly.

PS with "dedicated" lithium rectifier you cannot go to the track as they do not work over 10k rpm, so battery can be depleted, same story with series rectifiers thats why suzuki and many other manufacturers still are using old style rectifiers which can still charge when engine rpm is over 10k.

Very good article Grant Tiller | Exposing the Market Leading Regulator/Rectifier
Thanks for that, interesting read. I'm not electronically savvy enough to tell whether or not the context (classic Brit bikes) is directly relevant, but I'm also curious about the track comment. Even at the track the time you spend over 10K is pretty limited, so what is the problem?

I think I had to replace my gen 1 RR a little after 30,000 miles...

Now that’s a decent looking exhaust can. I feel everything for the 3 was rushed with no real thought on following lines like everyone did with the 2’s.
True the K/N airfilter is a classic example. The first batch they made don't fit, the second batch we haven't got here yet , hopefully should

Suzuki has updated MOSFET (shunt) FH027BA rectifier for gen3 busa. So get quality lithium battery, cause if battery will fail your stator can be toasted because RR will shunt overcharge to ground and make stator wires quite hot, regular battery works as buffer even failed regular battery still accept some charge if it is not having shorted cells, in lithium battery case if battery fails BMS will not accept any charge.
