I loved my Arai Astral, but it got rashed in the crash and my wife with good intentions got me an HJC CL-15. Well I'm here to tall you there is a big difference between the 2 helmets. For one, the HJC felt lighter but but the sheilds mechanism on the side broke and the darn thing would detatch while I'm going down the road and be flapping in the wind. I have talked to other people with the same problem. And the Arai , Well it's an Arai. This time I got the RX-7

I'd originally bought a Arai Vector but it never showed. Lost in Fedex limbo somewhere. Even though I do suspect the seller of doing somethiing shady. Many calls to Fedex, a paypal claim and a refund later I bought the RX-7. This was the first one.

Great helmet! I wanted a Corsair but the fit was a little tight in the forehead so I have a Vector coming. Liked the look of the RX-7 better but the fit of the Vector won out. Can't go wrong with either one.
