New Chain for Hayabusa swingarm extension.

Hi Guys,
I just got my swingarm extended 7 inches with the extension kit.
The chain which I bought was the EK gold 530 quadra-X-ring zvx2 tensile strength 10.500lbs.

My question is that it did not come with the little clip which connects to the masterlink.
The guy who did the job on my bike told me its the Rivet style and no clips were provided.

My question is that is it safe to do the rivet style masterlink?

Yes it is safe. The factory chain was done the same way.

It is either a clip style or rivet style. Rivet style are compressed like the head of a rivet,As they are from factory. clip style has the long u looking style clip that clips on.

I have actually ran the clip style before with no problems what so ever, but I do prefer the rivet style.

The reason you need to rivet the busa chain is because of the power the bike makes. Some may argue this fact, but I will only rivet my chain.

I had a clip on the old chain and it held up just fine, i'm alot more comfortable with the rivet link
