My PC3USB Quick Disconnect - PICS

I've been playing with the tunes a little on my PC3USB and got tired of always removing seat, tool kit, registion holder, tank bar, lifting tank, unplug 2 plugs under tank, and disconnect the ground wire.  

 Then having to reverse it to put it back download a tune so I bought 2 6-pin connectors.  I soldered & heat shrinked all the wires individually & bundled them together so I now only have to remove the rear seat and tank bar to unplug them.  I put the plugs inverse of each other so I couldn't accidently plug them in the wrong way.

 Takes me 10 seconds to take the PC3 out now.

So I can upload a new tune to it from my computer.

Just roll it into the house, next to the computer to install a new Map...
Last time I did that, it was really easy...
And all it cost was around 5K for a Tennis Bracelet, when the wife came home early and caught me in the middle of the Living room with "The other Woman"...
I have since bought a Laptop, and now I work on the Busa in the garage...

The connectors are less than $6 for both plus are just a hair cheaper than a laptop.

I'll have to snap some pics of it in the tail. works nicely.

I HAVE A LAPTOP JUST FOR THE GARAGE I ALSO HAVE ALL MY MP3'S ON IT SO IT WORKS FOR ALOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS

Only bad part is if you do a new usb this way and it goes out it voids the warranty...

Just get a really long USB cable!

Dang that is cool! But still kinda expensive for personal use. I like my quick disconnect, 10seconds and I'm done.
