NOPE! sorry to get you all excited, no more busa-goodies for me; thinkn of getting either a Zuki M109r or the Yamaha/Star Raven, both big-twin bikes built for cruisin, which is all i'd use it for...take the kids or the wife out, go to work, etc.
want to make the busa a strictly scare-tha-shid-outta-u-fast bike for LSR and 1/4 racing but keep it street legal so I can use it to make lightning-fast video rentals from Blockbuster:laugh:

anyone here have experience with either? or both?? interested to hear likes/dislikes of the models...:beerchug:

we all know what 109r looks like, so here's tha Yammie:

I know the M109R, bro. In fact, I was just about to lay out the caysh for one of demz when '08 'busa hit...Well, I don't need to tell you what happened to that!

Anyway, the 109 is surprisingly lightning-fast off the line. Tons, gobs, fists-full of torque. Hold the eff on!

Standard Suzuki solid as a tank construction, gorgeous unmistakeable lines set it apart from others in the 'class'.

My money is on the M109R over all the others simply because people will, as with the 'busa, approach you, talk to you, and compliment you on your goods.

Totally represents. M109R...every bit the individual you are.

Damn. I feel like a commercial!

Thats a sharp looking Yamaha, their list of aftermarket goodies is amazing. I'd have to give the nod to the Suzi just because of brand and preformance. Either way, looks like good choices:thumbsup:

I have a 109. I thought about the Raider. The 9 is just a more comfortable for me. Not to mention it has more power. The only thing is the drrive shaft takes some getting used to.

I love this thing. I ride it more then the Busa.

I have a neighbor with a 109; nice bike with plenty of power. You'll like it!

I have owned a Yamaha Roadstar Warrior, it was an awesome handling bike for a cruiser it came with the 102 cu in, would loose off the line to the M109r but corners advantage the to the Warrior. Now that being said the new Yamaha Raider is great looking, seen it at the Bike show this year and comes with the 110 cu in motor. But the M109R has the wide tire on the back end and would make a great cruiser as well.

Both are great choices. The Yamaha looks a bit more sinister, but it's all in the accessories.

Wow, as far as looks go it'd be a close one. I'd have to ride em both to have a valid oppinion. I've never ridden either one.

I have demo'd both bikes in Daytona...there is no wrong choice. The motors are close, the 109 is a little stronger and revs higher...I think the star motor pulls a bit down low. Both motors are AWESOME. I go back and forth in my head all time as I want a 2nd bike big V-twin cruiser.

No wrong choice...base it on looks, which one appeals to you more.

If ya got the cash though...the Victory motor is on par with the other two mentioned above. And they just upped it from 100cu. inch to 106  and I haven't rode that one yet (I will in October  biketoberfest in Daytona)

My favorite  The Hammer S

The Raider has a 113 cu. in. engine and will produce lots of power with exhaust, air kit and a PC3. I have the Stratoliner version with this engine, it has power...........

if I had the $$$ and was looking for a cruiser, it would be hard to pass on an M109R. I've also always like the Kawi MeanStreak too

I like 'em both. But to be critical I would say the M109 has a bit of Buck Rogers styling. The Raider, well I love that Road Star motor, but on the Raider there is a large empty gap just above the front cylinder. What is up with that??? Look at the Victory, it has a cover there to fill that gap. Sorry, just me. I get really picky with little things like that.

I kinda agree with you on the 109 styling and the massive gap above the front cylinder on the raider (that bugs me to)...can't say the same for the Victory...don't really mine the cover, heck it blends in so well I never noticed it.

As far as the 109...should also consider
That IS A CRUISER
They also supposedly retuned that beast of an engine for
MORE lower end torque
Can't wait to ride one in OCTOBER (Can't get here fast enough)

I love the stars have rode many of them and thing they are a great deal for the money. I would really love to have the 109 it is by far my favorite looking cruiser but I have never rode. I don't think your going to go wrong on this one. Just buy both and get a discont.:beerchug:
