Re: Need some helpful tips on removing my engine

Clutch cover is removed, clutch plates and steels are out, left the basket in place. Got the bolts from the top around the breather out and all the 12mm and 8 mm bolts around the case. I don't have the oil pan off, should I? Didn't seem necessary at the time. Hidden bolts in there?

Re: Need some helpful tips on removing my engine

Ok, to ALL reading this (including my new mentor, GIXERHP) with this kit, do I NEED to upgrade my fuel pump and/or injectors or will stock be sufficient?

Doing the same mod minus the cams, I have wondered the same thing about the fuel. ??? Mine has been apart for about 2 months waiting on the head to be finished :banghead:

Re: Need some helpful tips on removing my engine

I put a Bosch pump in mine...but I also went with S2000 injectors, but it was prolly over kill.

Bosch 69420 Original Equipment Replacement Electric Fuel Pump

replaces in tank pump with very little modifcation.

Just one question, did you have the injectors flow checked?

Re: Need some helpful tips on removing my engine

Anyone know a moderator that can change the title of this thread? Or should I just make a new one? "The Busa Upgrade"! or something?
